What I mean is self-care after you have had a session with me. To clarify this, I need to talk about dysregulation. When a person is dysregulated, it means that their body, soul, and spirit are out of alignment. When they are regulated, it means their body, soul, and spirit are in alignment. Even if they have been out of alignment for some time, regulating happens.

When a client of mine has a session, they will be working on alignment so their body can dispose of the adrenaline and cortisol their body relives/retains due to past trauma. It is important to drink quite a bit of water to flush these chemicals out of their system after each session. Then they need to take time to rest.

After a client has finished sessions with me it is also important they simplify their life because it takes mental focus to purposely live life differently. My clients need to live differently because they have shifted their thinking from negative to positive. Staying focused is a necessity to keeping their healing.
